Translation
The hermitage (paḷḷi) was caused to be made by Kīraṉ Ko(ṟ)ṟi, the young daughter of Pi(ṭ)ṭaṉ 10 of Na(l)liyūr.

To the left of the entrance to the eastern cave on the southern face of the hill; engraved on rough surface and weather-beaten; worn thin but legible.

1. This letter which looks like pi is an unusual variant of y. See ETE 2, Paleographic Chart 7 for similar variants from pottery inscriptions.
2. This letter is engraved below the line to avoid the uneven and rough rock surface here.
3. The letter is ko as pointed out by MSV.
