Translation
The charity (aṟam) by Akaḻūr (was endowed)10 at the bidding of Iḷaṅkāyipaṉ. 3 seats (atiṭṭāṉam)11 were made by Mōci.

On the rock floor outside the cave known as Pañcaṇārpaṭi on the hill to the south of the village; weather-worn and faint.

Notes
1. Very faintly seen. The letter has been identified as i by Sampath (1994).
2. Natana Kasinathan (1991) and Chandiramurthy (1992) read sa and Sampath ḷa.
3. The puḷḷi is placed inside the letter.
4. Natana Kasinathan reads sa, Chandiramurthy , and Sampath .
5. A slanting cleft cuts across this letter.
6. The letter is reversed by scribal error.
7. The numeral 3 comprises three horizontal parallel lines.
